    Tank troubles

Its the same with the Tesla model S. Two range options, charged at different prices but identical car with the range controlled by software. When there was a hurricane in Florida, Tesla remotely and temporarily updated all the lower range models to the higher range so as to allow everyone to...

    Tank troubles

That's exactly how it works. Flew a large pivoted tractor unit out to the secret base in the Indian Ocean where MH 370 is kept. The tractor unit was FREE but you had to have 5 years of service and maintenance from the provider.

    Afghan pull out

I remember reading somewhere that Afghanistan has been invaded so many times in history that its now hardwired into the population to just let whoever is in charge run the place and agree with them whilst waiting for the next invasion.

    When Betty goes

These 'leaks' are common knowledge. I think the Daily Wail has run this story a couple of times in the past. Most papers have also ran this story, I think the only new item that would be worth of a news story for Op London Bridge was if Phillips was attending!

    Before NATO Stock Numbers

Last week I thought I had found a pair of 5C/1079's at the local auction house that had been mis-identified. Got down there as soon as viewing opened but alas they were just lamps made by the same supplier. On a slightly different note, does anyone know when these lights were last used on an...

    Anyone on Furlough?

I've been on furlough since the start and now they want me back next week. Feeling a bit miffed as wanted July off so I could finish things off around the house. Luckily it is still remote working so a 30 second commute every day for the foreseeable future. When the office reopens I am looking...

    New uniform

They seemed to have it sorted in WW2 with the battle dress, everyone new what branch everyone else was. No need to change the colours, just the material and cut.

    Self entitled chavs and jobsworths

Our village is quite well served by a subsidised service into the nearby town but there is a service on a Tuesday that goes past.... but there is no return service ever!

    Hong Kong

The UK did complain during the last set of demonstrations. All China did was tell us to pi55 off as it was their country. Dont see what else we can do? The right wing would likely be uproar if we let 300K people into the UK so cannot see a workable solution to this. Plus if we did this...

    Border Farce?

There is a vid of Nigel Farage filming French vessels escorting migrant boats into UK waters, then the UK force escorting them to shore. Its doing the rounds on social media.

    Uproar as Sailor Drinks Alcohol

The skipper has been sacked. Apparently he ignored suggestions from almost everyone not to hold the party but he ignored their advice. I suspect he was highly regarded amongst the crew but a pain to command staff.

What are you doing in lock down?

Look at the Kartcher outlet web site, they have refurbed units at a lot lower price. I bought mine from there and have never had an issue.

    Lockdown is here

Its usually the big brands that produce the home brands. There was a story a little while back where a bag of Aldi potato hoops contained Hula Hoops. They just run a short production run to the recipe specified by the supermarket. It probably easier for them to refuse to run smaller batches...

What are you doing in lock down?

Just had the call and email to say that I have been furloughed until the end of May. I will now spend the weekend coming up with a furlough plan as I don't want to spaff away 2 months of free time in front of the TV. Any ideas for a new hobby?

What are you doing in lock down?

Currently working from home but waiting for the furlough mail to fall in my lap. Trying to work out a plan of what to do. The cars desperately need attention to get them back up to a regularly usable standard. After that I don't know, maybe look at a new hobby. Had huge fall out with...

    Lockdown is here

If you note all these checks have been carried out on corner shops and not the large supermarkets. Even the councils where this has occurred has seen disbelief that their staff cannot apply common sense. There was a story about this a few days ago where the Association of Corner Shops went...

    Corona virus

I couldn't believe Ninjarabbi's statement and wait till he gets back. However its true. https://www.rotherhamadvertiser.co.uk/news/view,police-set-up-online-form-to-report-covid19-guidance-breaches_35605.htm

    RAF Rejoiner Vacancies

Like the fact that the pic in the link is over 5 yrs old and of Auggies training.

Ordering an Airman to spend their own money

Wear a jumper so the tie is hidden. Are the brown jobs going to have an inspection of your civvies and make you get your tie out?

Laugh out loud moment of the day

That report in the Independent didn't say if he was in an EU queue or a non EU queue. How much did the EU invest in South Wales as it was/is one of the most deprived areas of Europe. I found it a bit of a shock that the EU was investing in UK projects despite us giving them all of our cash.
