    TG1 Retention again

    Afternoon, what's the latest from the cleaner on the TG1 retention? i've heard 300% increase in techie pay and another FRI for OR4-9 for another 3 years service to try and get them out of the impending 40% hole in manpower by 2025.

    So the saga continues, not only are shirts in short supply, trousers are also hard to get and to top it off there are no more RAF belts! nil stock, no contract, discontinued, now walking around with braces on with a yellow diff chit for no belt! Even Mc'donalds manage to cloth their employees!

    There seems to be quite a few TG1 PVRing at the moment, I heard a figure of 350 this year mentioned, manning is down to 90% for the trade. all the promotion boards have ground to a halt as they cant promote people without leavi ng massive gaps. whats the answer?

    Question for the adminers out there, what would be the proceedure for those on a PSL who had been released from the list but not given an assignment and the board ended? I.E. you were No30 and they released 30-40 and only a couple off that release got offers before the next board sat?
