Photo Competition

Ok, as has been mentioned in this thread a photo competition or something along those lines is being requested so that hints, tips and advice can be shared in an effort to improve skills.

How about a rolling weekly/fortnightly photo entry where anyone can submit a photo on a set subject chosen by the majority of the previous competition?

I was going to suggest "People" to begin with and some other suggestions for the future could include 'the great outdoors', 'still life', 'me', 'cars' in fact the list is endless, whatever people want to photograph...

If this is going to work, we all have to play nice (well, most of the time. If you submit a photo you must be prepared for it to be criticised, hopefully complimented and receive feedback from anyone who wants to make a comment, it is a public board after all.) The only rules are, it must be a photograph taken by you, try and make it a current one not 20 years old!! NO PORN!
