    Beer is legally sold in England and Wales in quantities of 1/3 or 1/2 pint Some places sell beer in schooners, which is 2/3 pint. Quite legal, but can catch you out if you aren't aware.

    The chancellor controls state pensions. The triple lock ensures that the state pension will always increase each year in line with either inflation, the average wage increase or 2.5%, whichever is the highest.

    Anyone else got premium bonds?

    My wife and I have bonds as a 'holding account' until we need money for a holiday or similar. It takes about 3 days to cash in. We use a phone app that tells us each month if we have won. We normally win one or two £25 prizes a month at least. Makes more interest than sitting in a bank account
