My daughter-in-law's maiden name is Timms.
Her grandfather was Sqn Ldr Geoffrey TImms who was the RAF's oldest Harrier pilot (aged 62) at RAF Wittering.

She understands that 'his' Harrier is at a museum somewhere with Geoff Timms' name on it.

Any ideas chaps/chapesses?

Don't know about the aircraft but I do remember Sqn Ldr Timms very well. He was one of the OCU's airtest pilots for much of the time I was on the squadron and we used to keep a box of F707Bs marked 'Sqn Ldr Timms Airtest Use Only', a tongue in cheek reference to the odd snag or two he used to raise on aircraft he was testing. Looking back in hindsight I'd say that was more a testament to his attention to detail and to us being whiny techies than anything else! Nice guy.

Its part of the Muckleborough collection, Norfolk, afraid she isnt looking quite how she should, she needs some TLC.
