I was shocked to read that 10% of Martin Baker seats have been used in anger.

With Aircraft loss ratios of some of the types fitted with MB seats running at 25 to 30+ % over the life of the types in service, I'm surprised that the figure is not a lot higher.

Doesnt that impinge on some form of copyright laws?
Any Mods confirm this? I have bought a copy of the scum and could do the scan and paste if allowed.
Publishing them would, especially when the Sun's own site isn't running the pics.

Curious as to where you got those figures from, MAINJAFAD. Can you provide link/reference?:pDT_Xtremez_19:

Martin-Baker has supplied approximately 69,000 ejection seats of which 19,000 are currently in service.[citation needed] 7,195 to date—10% of the total delivered—have been used by aircrew to abandon aircraft

Who posted that on you tube??? Someones in the poo!

No idea mate but given the fact that it is already embedded on PPrune along with other forums as well as the fact that KAF has already been plastered all over the telly, I didn't think it would be a problem to post on here. I will remove the post if required.

If its available open source then it's ok on here until we are advised otherwise...probably tens of thousands have viewed it on youtube so whatever tactical (if any) value the footage had has long gone...

If anything it's a really good advert for Martin Baker low speed zero altitude ejections!

I just assumed the inside video of Kandahar would be a no no.

I mean it's not like a tv program, this is uncensored.
