Glad there are no major injuries or worse.

At this rate we won't have to retire the Harriers earlier than planned, there will be none left!

I think it is a credit to the aircrew and ground crew in that this is the first airframe loss (not including the one taken out by a rocket attack whilst on the ground) throughout Op Herrick.

Hope the pilot makes a speedy recovery.

Only if they get receipts!!!

On a more serious note, its been a "tense" day in hoverland today. Hopefully the pilot will be home soon, make a full recovery and be back flying as soon as possible.

Apparently the pics in the Sun are pretty good, although they are no-where to be seen in the net.

If someone on here did get the Sun, is there any chance of scanning the pics in and putting them on here? :pDT_Xtremez_14:

Saw the full 2 page pic in the Scum today, fantastic pic, shows the jockey exiting the crashed heap courtesy of Martin Baker.

Doesnt that impinge on some form of copyright laws?
Any Mods confirm this? I have bought a copy of the scum and could do the scan and paste if allowed.

I was shocked to read that 10% of Martin Baker seats have been used in anger.
