Just asked my lad and he thinks it is a weekly meet up for people that associate with the female gender and those that are loosely associated with that gender.

Like Cornish I don't have a problem with this. My wife is going through the menopause and it has a far reaching consequences on our daily life, impacting us both considerably. Considering 50% of humans on the planet go through this stage of life the more support the better.

This sounds like a self help clinic to me that has been advertised locally.

Having watched some of the stuff that BBC breakfast did on the subject a couple of years back and my wife having gone through it, I agree with Cornish and 4ever about a support group being a good idea. I'm just not keen on the name. I wonder if husbands are really welcome?
