Just asked my lad and he thinks it is a weekly meet up for people that associate with the female gender and those that are loosely associated with that gender.

A support group for those suffering the effects of the menopause is a properly good idea. Both males and females suffer in their own way.
Those that have suffered living with someone that is going through it knows you need all the support you can get.

Like Cornish I don't have a problem with this. My wife is going through the menopause and it has a far reaching consequences on our daily life, impacting us both considerably. Considering 50% of humans on the planet go through this stage of life the more support the better.

Having watched some of the stuff that BBC breakfast did on the subject a couple of years back and my wife having gone through it, I agree with Cornish and 4ever about a support group being a good idea. I'm just not keen on the name. I wonder if husbands are really welcome?
