There is a pongo on arrse who is trying to register here, but has posted:

I've tried making an account on E-Goat but can't get past the registration. The site uses the reCaptcha V1 which I think is now expired. Can't make an account

Doesn't look like anyone new has registered in weeks judging by latest member info - maybe there is an issue generally

Dan Brown, thanks for highlighting this.

The problem is now resolved and the Army bod should be able to create an account without hindrance.
