The tentacles of the alleged SNP financial mess spread a little further.

"SNP treasurer Colin Beattie has today been arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation into the party's funding and finances."

I reckon all this financial malarky puts any thoughts of holding what they call Indy Ref2 in the bin for the foreseeable. So the RAF can happily carry on as usual with force taskings and keeping units in the frozen north busy whilst posting folk in and out of Scotland based on HR needs or even on a whim.

With Murrell & Beattie both questioned under caution, and both of them can be considered the big guns of the SNP NEC, surely the next big gun to be questioned under caution will be Sturgeon ( I guess that will be a surprise to Humza Yousaf too).

I guess that Indy is taking a back seat for now (Humza Yousaf said in a husting that indy would be within 5 years), also any big job that Sturgeon (UN or EU) was eying up are now just a pipe dream, shame really
