Yep I was sat at that table as well.

They are politicians feathering whatever nest they have left. None are standing again so they're milking it for all it's worth. They'll be on the board of some company next year where their expenses can't be seen as the FOI doesn't count and the lobbying bribes will be called consultancy fees.
