Another TC

Another TC

I've already voted on this (good to see the TC's being the biggest numbers of the old TG). I didn't post any details previously as I would be seriously showing my age compared to lads who were on DTC 140+ but WTF.

Nov 79 -> Jan 80 Swinderby,
Jan 80 -> Mar 81 DTC 14,
Mar 81 -> Jan 83 Henlow (factory),
Jan 83 -> Jan 86 Wildenrath (GRF Tels Eng),
Jan 86 -> Oct 88 840SU Lindholme,
Oct 88 -> Aug 91 TCW (very briefly ACF then UKMF),
Aug 91 -> Aug 94 Locking (Course Design).

A quick tour to FI (Mocho Pond Rxers) Nov 89 ->Mar 90 with a suntan tour to the Gulf Dec 90 -> Apr 91.

For info, although I was on DTC 14, the only 3 TC courses in front of us when I was at Locking were DTC 7, 10 and 13 i.e. no 8,9,11 or 12. I have no idea about DTC's 1-6 or if they even existed, perhaps some really old dinosaur will have been around then.

I will also own up for being partially responsible for the content of the El Eng Mech and Tech courses. In my defence I will say the following: I was only following ze orders and the syllabus was pretty much complete by the time I got there so I was involved in writing the TO's, EO's and course notes etc.

Left on redundancy and tossed it off at uni for 3 years getting an accountancy degree. This was followed by 3 years as a trainee accountant. For the last 5 years I have been working as a systems accountant so spend my days writing SQL scripts for Oracle Discoverer so my fellow accountants think I'm some kind of techie!!!

Was on DAF48 - @ Locking Feb 82 - Jun 83
Chivenor GRF or 6 wonderful surf filled 2 day, 2 nights and 4 days off years. GRF with enough for two teams of volleyball every day!
It seemed PMA mislaid me, found me and sent me to Stornoway in 89 - another great place to lose yourself.
Afraid I went to the Zob side when they stopped us fixing stuff and an old boss left the crypto cell open during an exercise :pDT_Xtremez_25:- figured even I could do that and get paid for it!
