Hiya

My husband should have started resettlement back in March but there is no resettlement personnal on our base.
Does anyone know where we stand or who we have to talk to? All we keep getting told is that 'they are geting someone in'
We have no clue what he is supposed to be doing/entitled to etc.
He is coming out at his 9 year point (with 2 extra years for Q+C)
Thanks for any help/advice you can give
Sara

Are you at a lodger Unit and if so your parent Unit should be of help, failing that get in touch with his resident shiney to sort it out or put him in the right direction

The education centre is normally the place to ask and even if there isn't a dedicated resettlement person someone should at least have an idea although I'm sure all the entitlements are probably hidden away somewhere in the JSP's which he could have a look through.

By and large, most resettlement staff work in the Education Centre. If the centre at his unit doesn't have any resettlement staff, then the staff there (assuming there is and Education Centre there) should organise him being able to use the resettlement staff at another unit's education centre. Them not having the staff is no reason to put a hold on his resettlement.

If needs be, he can motive himself and get on the phone to the next closest unit's resettlement staff and explain the situation.

Used to be 2 year point.

Finance Brief is worthwhile, a day not earning is a day spending and lump sums come and go, income keeps repeating, housing less so, basically don’t rely on the state for a nice house, but still a day off work.
