Out with my 6ft She Demon last night celebrating my impending 40th birthday...she looked absolutely stunning and the blokes were round her like flies.

Anyway...dancing away with the same She Demon, this bloke comes up to her, and he is trying to chat her up right next to me....not that this normally bothers me but I could see the laughter lines round his eyes, he was promptly telling her that his son is 2 years older than her at 21..........and did she think he looked good at 43.

Finally noticing I was stood there...he smiled at me and said hello....with a forced smile through gritted teeth, nodded my head.

He kept noticing the steeley eyed look I was giving him, he promptly leant forward and whispered "I don't know what your matter is love"...

Smiling at him sweetly I replied "I am her f***ing mother and you are too old...now you can either leave with your nuts intact or not....your choice"....

His face....like Mastercard.....Priceless...he left.......

At first, we discussed the age gap, but we get on like a house on fire and both said "stuff what others think."

I detect that the chap in question was mainly being the sort who was after his chances and you being the mum, saw that his advances were not quite right.

If that was the case, superb, but, if I may play devils advocate, were you maybe a little jealous? Plus, how would your daughter react if a 21 yo lad chatted you up?

Also, why do you refer to your daughter as a "she demon"? That possibly infers that you are acutely aware that she could pull anyone she wants.

But, as you said, you were very polite and forthright in what I can only describe as a true, protective mother who only wants the best for her daughter.

My daughter goes ballistic when anyone tries to chat me up....but I don't bother as I am married.

I look at my 6ft 1" daughter with pride as she is stunning and I just smile knowing her dad and I made her...and I don't mind the age difference of 10 years..but this lecherous old git was 24 years older than her.....

Toooo much.........and I am a very protective mother.....and trust me the amount of guys her own age who were chatting her up.....not a problem as she introuduced me as mum and they were nice boys.


By the way....our nicknames are She Demon...and she calls me Midget...as I am only 5ft 7"....

We have a lot of fun together and she looks great in anything she wears and I don't feel jealous....just careful.......old men and young girls...no no.....

Then, all I can say is that is reassuring that even in this day and age, family values stick.

It is pleasing that such a bond exists between yourself and your daughter. Moreso, that you and Hubby are together to see your daughter grow into an obviously (from your comments) beautiful young lady.

I hope sincerely that your values, trust and thought have been passed down from yourself to your daughter and that she values her wellbeing as much as you value hers!!!

As to your other point I think that dressing up in a Tarzan outfit probably makes him feel that he is making love to another woman despite it being the same woman.
