An ex squaddie who got so fed up with the council not repairing stuff in public spaces decided to do his own repairs, at night.
Very surprised that he hasn't been nicked or done by 'elf and safety!

Good for him!! He's showing the kind of community spirit that made this country great, and a real credit to the ethos of the Armed Forces.

Fair play to the bloke I say, shaming the council is always the way forward.

There's always one

On the face of it, it looks like he is doing a grand job. But in reality, he is putting a whole Team of Park Rangers and Council Handymen's positions in jeopardy. He needs to leave it to the people that are paid to repair and maintain the equipment, and NOT take matters into his own hands!

The council may have thanked him, but no mention of offering to reimburse him for the materials that he paid for personally. :(

Good on him though. Pity some of the chav scum can't be forced to do jobs like that for community service.

Well it looks to me that the Park Rangers and Council Handymen have just had the justification for their jobs removed!
If they've done nothing about this problem, whilst one man alone has, its saying something, surely?

Well done that man though, thats the kind of vigilantism I can fully support!
