In the Lakes right now and most fields looking green. Raining as I type. My grass back in Cornwall still struggling with another dry spell forecast after a bit of drizzle got it’s hopes up! I noticed the leaves falling off a couple of weeks ago before reading about this ‘false Autumn’ that happens in extreme heat conditions. It’s true! The big Beech tree owned by my neighbours has already started to fill my gutters!

False autumn a thing I have never heard of or witnessed before this year but its happening here also. Leaves coming down like its October not August. We've has the odd rain shower and so on but no decent quantites of rain and the ground is still very dry.
