Unfortunately, too many people agree with you.

I think this could be the first step towards the abandoning of the Euro by those countries with reasonable economies who wish to limit the damage caused by the rapidly imploding Greek debt market.

I was rather hoping that the Greek Euro debt crisis would take the heat off the Pound for a while but after Gordo's "saving of the world" episode, there's no chance of that happening.
