......Prepare to join the new engineering super wing with no identity, no history, no morale and no interest.

We already have that at Ice Station Kilo. Won't affect us then :)

Contracts are a good thing

Contracts are a good thing

I think that these contracts are a good idea, and with a few minor changes they could be an excellent get out of work free contract for the constantly down trodden workers. Ie when thick as f#ck Herc air engineer drops in at the end of his debrief that he had overtorque on all four engines for no apparent reason other than he couldn't be bothered to read his intruments properly we simply refer to our ammended contract where it now states that we can chop of his tezzers and rivet them to his chin!!
I bet they would pay more attention then the lazy, fat, lying waste of skins!!
God i hate aircrew!!

yeah use here in wokka heaven are having a really fun time. yet again there is an investigation as to why so may pvr's and exchanges have been put in form the new EXCES sqn....

lets face it, most of you fixed wing techies would love to stay the hell away from this 6 winged wonders of the sky, but, if all the redundancies, pvr's and exchanges go through it's you who are gonna be drafted down here to replace them, poor you.

if only the master race would stop and think, maybe actually make the effort to ask use what we would like to change and what should be left ALONE!!!! yes change is good, but at what point does getting the job done and flight safety go past the line into danger areas of over worked and exhausted engineers.

ps

when do we stop being a force and become a militia? if they lower the numbers even more the only way they will be able to keep the a/c in the air would be by disbanding the air force and merging use with the ARMY!!! now that is a scary thought you say ............... but it's happening already.
