Emotional weekend? On motor cycle

Was out this weekend on bike with friends. As all will know, if you ride a bike you nod to on comers,
This weekend was a tad bizarre. Every biker coming towards us nodded and while standing by road all were also nodding? while we were eating ice cream.
A general feeling of "thank fug we are now out of this madness and hopefully back to normal"

Seems a similar fashion. I belong to another forum on Land Rovers the habit of acknowledge of fellow Landies only stretches to the Series and Defenders range. Whether this is due to similar experiences constant repairs and like Charlton Heston says of taking his rifle.
Can't imagine Lycra clad Cyclists waving at each other to busy looking out for pot holes and drain grids.
