that's pretty awesome - big respect for doing that all day. Was pretty emotional listening to it even knowing they all got out, must be horrific on the ones where they don't get out.

I tried to stop a fella getting back into his burning property on early Friday morning. It was like trying to stop a raging bull. It took 3 of us to explain his daughter was safe and well. As you said, you can't blame him.

On a similar note I remember a 999 operator talking a father through a baby delivery, incredibly she had only been working as an operator for a few months. The audio is quite dramatic and emotional at the end.

These people do a remarkable job, their calmness is quite incredible.
