Agreed to all the above as long as we get a WHITE goats face !!

Crack on.........:pDT_Xtremez_09:

The original Goats face was actually flesh colour Tashy, but unfortunately, when it went into design the computer picks the nearest colour. To be honest mate, you really are making a mountain out of a mole hill over this. Its not noticeable at all...........................unless you are really looking for it.

I think an 'change shirt' is a good idea, as not everybody liked the first design.

I'll have one this time mate. Do they do ex-front row forward size?

I can honestly say, as an ex-prop who may have put on a couple of ounces from his natural fighting weight, the large chest version fits just fine!

Nothing wrong with the current design, can the company deal with smaller orders now the first production run is complete?

The other one for the ladies may be a tailored woman's shirt like the 6 nations replicas. These are more shapely for the female figure and may be preferable for some.

Otherwise, top work on the shirts. Good quality merchandise that is better than some playing kit I have sported in the past (High Wycombe/Halton tiger stripe anyone?)

No might about it, it will cause a problem, they are very protective of the poppy.

Can't see how that can be. You get wild poppies, all we have to do to not fall foul of the copyright is not use the exact image that the RBL use.
I remember NZ having a poppy on one on their jersey recently when playing over here, think it was ANZAC day on one of their matches?

Seeing as i've got an original design one, i'd like to see a different design of shirt and can i suggest one or two developments???
A stitched Union Flag/RAF Ensign on one sleeve
A Stitched Poppy on the other
Would be quite happy to pay more if we could give some to charity as well.

Request away but I doubt we would get permission for use. Remember that we are an UNOFFICIAL rumour network and while most of us lay claim to the connection, to put the Ensign on our shirts would open a can of worms. We are more likely to get permission to use the poppy and like Gem said they are very protective of the symbology.

Incidentally your request has just made your shirt cost go up by about £15.

WHY?

Why not???? Am proud of being British as well as Welsh and of my time in the RAF.

Ok now what about the people on this forum who are not British? There are a few and thats not including the ones who have emigrated. Are we to alienate them from their forums shirts by putting a national emblem on the shirt of a virtual community?

I see nothing wrong with including the Union Flag. We are mostly Royal Air Force, ex Royal Air Force or in some way affiliated and by and large proud Brits. The Union flag makes up part of our header see top of this page.

As for alienating foreigners who are members of the forum, fcuking tough tit, if my country's flag offends you, you can fcuk off.If it is included on our clothing and it offends you, don't fcuking buy it.

Simple really:pDT_Xtremez_14:

I wasn't arguing just replying.

Personally I like the original shirt, but I do not see the ethnicity of a very small minority of goaters as a valid reason not to include the Union flag. However I'm not campaigning for it's inclusion either.

Either way it was a very heated reply for something not in the fight club mr moderator sir hence the reason I chose not to follow up. I was implying that a lot of the history of our service has relied on non British personell and a RAF forum should not forget the sacrifice made by other nationalities in its service. To this day the RAF is so much more than British but I do accept your point about the Union Jack and I was under the impression it was on the banner because if my screen was an Ensign that is what I would see there. (admittedly an assumption!!!)

Serving in our storied force does not mean you are/were/want to be British..........merely the best!:pDT_Xtremez_28:

Too true BUT you find that non UK forces hold more esteem BECAUSE they served with UK forces and are normally more proud of the fact then we are for having them with us !!!

Why hide it ?

If everone orders that has voted there looks to be no reason to worry about it
