Could I ask who you sent your gen app to please? I've tried volunteering for several OOAs but I'm struggling to get anywhere. Unsure wether it's manning or my current management who make my applications disappear!

Could I ask who you sent your gen app to please? I've tried volunteering for several OOAs but I'm struggling to get anywhere. Unsure wether it's manning or my current management who make my applications disappear!
You'll need your management to buy in mate. And there's no actual need for a gen app as far as I know. I simply ring the desk for the lads who work for me and negotiate a suitable date and location that keeps the desk and my lads happy.....
I think that's where my problem lies. The popular method for many applications is 'email via your line manager'
I'm convinced several of my email applications have stopped at my line manager/flt cdr and not made it to the drafter. I've asked to be CC'd in the email to the drafter but this falls on deaf ears.
