Queen, The Quo, INXS, The Alarm, GnR (first gig in the UK I think), Faster Pussycat 1986

Genesis, Nuclear Assault, Onslaught, Agent Steel, AC/DC, Gary Moore, Motorhead, Anthrax, Hawkwind, Magnum, KISS, RATT 1987

Thunder 1991

GnR, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, U2 1992

Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer 1995

Metallica, Marilyn Manson 1998

Iron Maiden 2004

Wasn't goin gto mention Elton John, but it WAS Roverwoman who wanted to see him.

There are probably more, but I'm getting old and have a failing memory.

I've been addicted to live music since my first gig - The Undertones in 1982.
Since then I've probably seen in excess of 1,000 bands (both big and small)

My notable gigs must be:

Elvis Costello - 25 times !!
Rage Against The Machine (twice)
The Smiths
The Libertines (small gig before they released the first album)
Greenday - Hammersmith Apollo
David Byrne

....and so many unsigned bands - both great and not so great.

And of course many gig swith my own band The Lost Weekend

Last time I saw him (Birmingham 2002) He did say "Hello again Ade" when I asked for a picture with him....

...I guess thats cos I always thrust a copy of my band's latest demo into his hand each time !

Haven't been to a concert in so long! must go this year!

used to have a band every weekend when i had my pub.

I havent been for years either - kids, money, time - etc.
Plus a lack of people to go with!
This year - my mate has got tickets to go and see Bon Jovi - so may go with her, not decided yet. Also - definately got my heart set on seeing Thunder for my birthday!!!! Will wait and see what the birthday fairy brings me!!!
Would have loved to go to Hyde Park to see Aerosmith too in the summer!!

Seeing as my original post has vanished...... here is a small list of various artists....

Big Country
Simple Minds
Status Quo
MeatLoaf
Marion Raven
Deacon Blue
Tracy Chapman
Ska'd 4 Life
English Dogs
Brick Wall Band (that takes me back!!)
Edwin Starr (several times!)
Four Tops
Frankie Gaye
Kim Weston
Jimmy Ruffin
The Supremes
Dire Straits
REM
The Waterboys
The Levellers
The Wonder Stuff
10000 Maniacs
In Tua Nua

and a few more I have forgotten - either by choice or by alcoholic haze!!!
