9 period teaching days

Now here in lies the question, will ISS change the messing times to suit harry staish's whim and will the mirror monkeys change the directed PT times also to accommodate????

Good question. How are the PT sessions that now take place periods 3 and 4 going to fit in to what will now be periods 3-5? Will these become 3 period sessions or will the students some how or other have to make their way between a segment of lesson and the gym changing rooms between periods 3 and 4?

Of course it will be the usual Management moniker of "You have been told what to do so just make it happen" without any understanding of their responsibilities to the whole process. Somehow the problem they have created becomes for some reason the people's at the bottoms problems despite the fact they are in no place to oversee or sort the problem due to their responsibilities to their immediate pace of work which is quite rightly their only concern.

And of course it will be everybody else's fault that the idea doesn't work! Instructors et al as has been mentioned earlier.

Alpha-male type management only works on a short term measure but comes up short for long term projects where of course it is "everybody else's fault".

What could possibly go wrong??!!

Apparently the catering contractors have agreed to open for the extra time needed to allow those on the 10 period day access to an open mess, rumour has it though, that not all sections have bought into the 10 so some lodger units will stay at 8. The mirror techs apparently have issues with courses transit times from classroom to gym and according to rumour have lodged their displeasure and they are definitely not best pleased with Harry's new idea.

My section makes first contact with the brown wave in January but it is hard to see how their involvement in the total cluster will make things better.
