How do I edit my user page?

To start off log in as usual. Next click the "User CP" link on the navbar and then look at the menu on the left of the page. click "Edit your Userpage"

Once you have got to this page you will be greeted with a 'what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG)" edit window. Enter your details and click "save" in the lower right of the window.

You can also edit your page by clicking on the homepage "User Pages" link, clicking your name, then click "Edit your page" on the lower left hand side of the page.

Note: User pages are for Donators and Subscribers only. If your do not belong to these usergroups wyou will be greeted with a permission denied page.

To upload images to your profile you can use some free webspace (often provided with your internet service provider or some free webhost which you do not have to register for.

Try http://www.imageshack.us/ You do not need to register and once you upload from your pc you can then cut the "Direct Link to Image" code at the bottom and then on your e-goat userpage editor click the 'add picture' icon and paste the code from imageshack straight into the popup box that appears.

Some picture files are too large there are a lot of freeware graphics packages about like GIMP

http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html

or you can use an online picture resizer like the following

http://www.resize2mail.com/

This should allow you to insert pages at the size of your choice and keep the load down on the e-goat website until we get a module fully implemented (Without major security problems)

If you need anymore help then please get in touch.
