Well history in the making has come to an end eh?

Upon witnessing our illustrious party leaders in action and upon those impressions - who would you vote for?

I didn't watch it but no matter what, I will vote for Cameron. Who do you think came out on top?

It's all smoke and mirrors. They are all brilliant and have the answers to all our problems.......................So why are we so deep in the clag?

UKIP, just to stab these 3 and make a statement!

None of the parties on view are proposing to do what this country NEEDS, which is a massive change in certain areas. Unfortunately, the changes that we need aren't vote winners, and the impression I get is that the parties don't really care about improving the country, all they care about is getting voted into power. It's not an election campaign, it's a job interview.

If any party says that they will reduce benefits for those too lazy to work, make prison condition much worse, make punishment for criminals harsher and sort out immigration properly they will get my vote.

Unfortunately, the closest to doing what I feel needs to be done is the BNP, and I would trust those thugs as far as I could throw the entire party.

So in answer to the original question, none of the above.

I thought Clegg came off pretty well to be honest.

1. Clegg
2. Cameron
3. The presenter!
4. Brown.

Hate to admit it, but Nick Clegg slightly edged it for me.

Annoyed the sh1t out of me the Gordo continuously had to drop in that "he is sure Nick will support" and "I support Nick's proposal" He may have well dropped on his knees in front of him!

Cameron still too shiny and plastic, something just not right about him, but hey ho time will tell. News at Ten is even copying the e-goat poll!!

Couldn't be @rsed to watch it, why? 'Cos the only party with the answer to the only thing i'm interested in at the mo wasn't featured, who was that? UKIP, because they say they will get us out of Europe and stop the UK haemorrhaging £45 mil a day to that bunch of wasters.

Eh

Eh

So this is the greatest thing since white bread, whoopee doo.

Even watching the news after this, couldn't be bothered to watch the debate, bored me of this over hyped tripe.

Political parties don't keep the promises in their manifestos so I can't see them keeping any other promises, oh yes and GB has admitted being a liar (sorry inadvertedly not telling the whole truth - how on earth can you expect the former chancellor to be able to add up and sort out some complicated figures such as real rate of increase and one figure being lower than an other)

As heard on R4 the other day - Manifesto from the latin Manifes (list of things) and Oh (as in 'oh' we had no intention of doing that)

And as there is an election on and as a govt servant I need to be impartial I would just like to point out that they are all as bad as each other.

I did it coz I figured out that regardless of the 3 on the telly, that no matter what they said or did they would still not attract a vote. Therefore curious as to whether 1 of the 3 does it or will a vote still go to A N Other regardless.

There! a nice refreshing straight answer - could never be a politician eh?

I grew up in the tory days and will never forget (although many seem to have forgotton what they did to this country). 10% interest rates & high unemployment ring a bell. Communities still destroyed from those days and have never recovered. Its hard to point the finger at the global recession as its never been experienced on this scale before (and if you ask many if it wasnt in the news they wouldn't even be aware of it, the shopping centres still seem to be packed every weekend). IMO Nick Clegg seems to be clear but Gordon has got us this far. Mr Cameron can i ask have you ever had to go without?????

L1ars in triplicate was my first thought.
As usual for politicians, much rhetoric and little substance
(backed by evidence).

I don't mind having a complete clear-out of both houses, but I don't like the idea of voting for ALL the upper house.

If I was forced at gunpoint to choose one of those three, I think Clegg has it - by a nose.

Oh I remember. Nigel f***ing Lawson cost me my house when the interest rates hit 13%.

I didn't watch it because I won't be voting for any of the three stooges. I will make my mind up after I read the toilet paper that arrives on the mat by my front door.

Gillo, I understand your views and kinda know where you are coming from, from a mining family myself, however, what have labour done to maintain work for working class since they came to power, I'm sure the Corus employees of late feel no sympathy nor do the rover workers.

We now live in a Global economy and this current government has done little to negate these effects nor provide incentives that our european cousins have. As a country we have captitulated and conceded and we are in a much worse place than we were in 1997 no matter what you think.

Brown and Darling, might not be perfect but made the right choices (Northern Rock, preventing wholesale collapse of banks, measured plan to deal with deficit) and we should repay the deficit at a rate the country can afford.

Not if the rate we can afford is less than the interest we are charged on it.
You wouldn't run your bank account like that, so why run a country that way?

I have to agree Ming Mong , Its all about looking good. Nobody cares about us , its all things to make the other 2 look bad. Either way we have to choose one

I am from NE Scotland , I have been in the forces for 20 years , the days when Thatcher was in was good for us then.

I am still in NE Scotland and the people here love SNP , As a local and service orientated I have seen so much change from 2 different parties in (National power). What annoys me is the people wonder why they dont get the by pass, the rail network the shops. Simple fact is if you vote a dead party like SNP what government will give you anything . Annoys me my own people think of Braveheart and think it will all be there saviour , ****ing annoys me benny local ****s (that includes my mother) and me but ill vote Torry as its the best of the parties we have for our benefit.
