Does anyone remember either of these two cartoons which date from the 1960s era....

The first one is Sinbad Jr. I remember seeing this one as a kid but don't think it was in the UK.....

[Edit - This one doesn't seem to work direct from YT, right click it to go to the site]

The second one is Gigantor which I think is an early Japanese Anime cartoon...

PSBM that's a no to both. However Noggin the Nog I do remember an Oliver Postgate creation. Cartoons were very labour intensive things to make back then. Not that many I recall most were yank Scooby Doo was 1969ish. Kids programs I do remember Capt Pugwash, Stingray, Supercar, Fireball XL5, Top cat.

The Sinbad thing has all the hallmarks of Hanna & Barberra.
I am surprised at Gigantor being 1965. Looks more like 1959

Yes, the Sinbad cartoon is indeed a HB production, although it seems it was sold on to another company for distribution. I don't believe it was ever screened in the UK (which is why none of the older goatees can recall it!), I only remember the intro from when I was a kid living abroad.

The Gigantor cartoon actually dates from the 1950s, its a Japanese anime that was bought by an American company, dubbed and screened in the west in the 1960s. I think it was shown in Wales but not the rest og the UK for some reason.

Marine Boy was a fave of mine as a kid, although I nearly drowned in the bath seeing if Wrigleys was as effective as Oxygum!
