The Irish seem to have turned the corner after their terrible World Cup and the Welsh are full of confidence after the first couple of weeks of the 6 nations so this should be a cracker of a game.

It's a shame O'sullivan has finally realised Jackmans siht at throwing into the lineout and gone with Rory Best, the way Wales lineouts function it would have made the game more even on that front !

First I thought, woo hoo! Murphy and Dempsey out, but then I saw Horgan was in, oh bollox!

I am sure icke shane can take care of him !

I have been browsing the BBC 606 site and there are some belting quotes on there, for example..... "I really really want Ireland to win. I'm sorry, can't help the way I feel but I just do. Wales have punched above their weight for too long now. Enough is enough!"

No doubt a jealous saes who cannot believe that England can actually lose and do not have automatic rights to winning.

Yet again a poor first half by Wales......was getting better at the end although a few bad decisions earlier by the ref didn't help (although he is so far having a good match)

Lets hope like the rest of the season Wales have saved themselves for the second half......even if they gotta play with 14 for the first 10 minutes.

Come on WALES......

Crack on................:pDT_Xtremez_09:

Well the Welsh ground out a great win today, it was by no means a spectacle as a contest. I am really disappointed with the referee, for the whole 80 mins he just wanted to hear the sound of his own voice.::/:

Bring on the froggies !!!!! :pDT_Xtremez_40:

That game had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish :0

Shakey first half performance from Wales and lucky not to concede that try with some nifty defending to hold it up just in time.

Overall the game was not as close as the score suggests though Wales generally playing more confident flowing rugby and pushing hard on the Irish defence. Unlucky not to score a few extra tries especially in the late stage of the first half but throughout the second half Wales began to show their dominance bossing the possession and really testing the Irish defence.

Overall a rather sub-par performance from Wales compared to other recent games but some nice fast flowing rugby is what we need and Wales did not dissapoint in my opinion!

Fair play to ireland as well for their incredible defence and well done to our boys for pulling out a result despite 2 men being binned (that must have hurt so bad!)

Bring on France guys the grand slam is within our grasp again and I shall be glued to the idiot-box to see us bring it home :pDT_Xtremez_28:

What in gods name did Phillips and Martyn Williams think they were doing, fcuking idiots!!!!
Phillips dropping onto the Irish props ribs AFTER we had been given the decsion and Williams tripping Redding, to be fair it's better we took 3 points rather than 5 or 7, but still, NUMPTY!!!!!

What a great result and being in a sandy area has put a huge grin on my face which should last up until we kick off against the Frogmeisters.

At least we have gotten the ref from hell out of the way, what was good for one team should have been good for the other!!!!

Must admit to thinking we may have handed the game to Ireland a couple of times.

Much relieved at the score though and this should mean we have won the 6 nations even if we loose to France, purely on points unless one of the other teams in the running has a whitewash score.

Would be nice to have another Grand Slam though.:pDT_Xtremez_28:

Cannot understand how that Irish prop stayed on the park for a more blatant hit on Ryan Jones. Makes Mike Phillips look angelic:pDT_Xtremez_42:
