Surprised no-one has commented on this. No shock I suppose that this spineless government has decided to hold an inquiry in private, What's up Gordy? Skeletons in the cupboard have we? ******

One eyed Scottish idiot is just trying to write himself into a pretty history. Lance the boil, take the blame and move on!

Who cares, the results come out after the next election anyway. Want to bury bad news ? They're going to suffer a massive defeat and they appear to hope that will hide the truth when it's released.

all well and good SB except for the fact that the tories were lining up behind the government to go to war.
Only the Lib Dems were against the war and lets face it, they aint gonna get a look in.

It has to be in private because.

HMG went to war based on bad Intel (No details national security issue old boy)
Bad intel came from military specialists and the septics (can't reveal what it was matter of national security old boy)
Military specialists questioned behind closed doors (national security old boy)
Politians of the day questioned, except George W and Tony B liar obviously (no details released national security at stake old boy)

Enquiry results - Due to an unfortunate interpretation of the available intel we made a mistake. Therefore the poiticians are blameless they only followed the intel advice, british military blameless they work for HMG and be default the politicians, actually it's nobodies fault, what relief, can I retire now? What do you mean snow job, me cynical surely not.

It'll be in private so the lies fabricated to get us into the war won't be exposed.
It'll be a whitewash.

Bound to be a whitewash. With this Govts' record I would not expect any thing less.
Strange how HMG loyal opposition change their stance when they could not stop themselves jumping on the bandwagon to paragons of virtue.

Only because the majority of the sheeple vote "x" way because it's a family tradition, or I'm working/aristo class, I could never bring myself to vote for Lab/Tory (delete as required).

We need radical change, they even get to elect their own "headmaster" ffs. What's the betting the new speaker won't be someone WE know will get the job done.

These ignorant tw@ts feel so safe and secure that they feel they can ignore public opinion and to be perfectly frank mate, I think they're right. Too many people won't change to drive change themselves, they would rather sit and whine about the ******'s they put in office in the first place.

When i heard the news of the Inquiry, I thought of the scene from Yes Prime Minister, where Sir Humphery tells Bernard the various ways of delaying something, one of which was to set up a Board of Inquiry!

The only outcome I would wish to see from this inquiry is to see TCB lead away in handcuffs
