So this means what? We can just rip up all the rules of genetics ?
My point, which I stand by is this:
You have to accept that there are people in this world who are severely homophobic.
Said people who, if misled for whatever reason, found they were in a relationship with a transgender person would react with a violent revulsion up to and including murder.
If that happens and the transgender person is killed as a result you MUST allow that as mitigation.
I accept that people can be "born in the wrong sex body", I also accept that they might feel the need to make the outside reflect the inside, however I can also accept there are people in this world that will not.

But that's virtually the same argument presented by some Americans from the deep south to maintain segregation during the 60s - and the South Africans for their apartheid policy.

There were similar views, albeit regarding a different ethnic group, in mid 20th century Germany too.

Repeated again in the former Yugoslav states... etc, etc...

However, in the modern 21st century Western World, we don't live in those times any longer! Those who cannot accept change must ultimately pay the price if they cannot control their prejudices. So, no, I don't believe you can allow that kind of neanerthal prejudice any 'mitigation' for their inability to progress.

Anyway, this is getting far too serious for me... let's get back to a bit of mindless sexism - in the best possible taste of course!

Would she have been "permitted" to change gender if her X & Y chromosomes were not in a bit of a mess? Or is it down to the brain and a shrink?
Just a thought.

Just stated a simple fact that he can't be a women as he was born a man, had some surgery but still is a man under the new wrapping...Its not rocket science really...I don't see why the law in our country has to bow down to reflect something that is physically impossible...

If you were to have sex with him when you put your penis into him are you entering a women with a vagina or a man who via surgery has had some space created for your penis to go?

The answer of course, even if you want to fight the stance that everyone is free to do everything because we are all members of a permissive, modern utopia, is the latter no matter how you try to dress it up...

The fact of the matter is Jan wants to live as a woman. If she does so in an open and honest manner and is honest with any potential intimate partners I do not see a problem.

They lay in post-coital bliss, mad passion spent. Her hand kept stroking and playing with his b@lls. "That's very nice," he said, "but why?"
"Sometimes," she said, "I miss having my own".

[sorry; couldn't resist that old joke. I'll get me coat. . . ]

Thanks for sharing this passage from your personal diary Ex-bay...

It must have taken big hairy ones to share that with the community...

I know for a fact that as it stands at Tulliallan (Scottish Police College), 2 people share a room, I wonder if any other female there would/has refused to share...(I wouldn't know if she is there yet). The immediate answer is that they wouldn't/couldn't complain because, (excuse the pun) being a "PC PC", and as Jan is classed as a woman and to keep their job, they'd have to accept it.

Just a thought....

There are that many probationers going through just now, they are 3 to a room in some cases.

Probationers get diversity drummed so far in to them, that they are scared to complain about sharing with gay officers

Whilst this is detracting from the thread,

Diversity?

I'd rather eat my own sh1t.

As far as your post is concerned.

Too scared to complain about sharing with gay officers?

Wait till the inevitable bum rape happens and then watch the pc brigade climb all over it and tell everyone that it's ok, it's just gay culture blah, blah , etc.

I fcuking hate all this PC crap.
