I saw,"Planes, Trains and Automobiles", again the other day with Steve Martin and John Candy (RIP). It's been over 20 years since it was made and I haven't p1ssed myself laughing so hard in ages.

If you haven't seen it or haven't seen it in years I would recommend it.

Any other, "Forgotten films", to dust off out there?

If you like gentle humour, Grumpy old men & Grumpier old men. If you have kids, Dennis (Dennis the menace stateside), Walter Matthau & Jack Lemmon, priceless.

Haven't seen Luc Besson's 'Nikita' for years (mainly because I lent my copy to a mate and he got posted)

For the kids, avoid 'Drop Dead Fred' AT ALL COSTS. Bought it for my two one Christmas and they watched it every morning for almost a year.

Much better than the bridgette fonda remake. Got to say on those lines Leon, if you can get hold of the full version there is 24 minutes extra.

Ghostbusters 1 and 2, they make me smile no matter how many times i watch them.
Airplane 1 & 2
Roxanne if you like steve martin comedies.

Hot Shots & Hot Shots:part Deux

Spot on from the first scene, with the aircraft going inverted and all the sh**e falling onto the canopy... classic!

The Blues Brothers and National Lampoons Animal House.

Of course if you were in Germany in the early 80's you will have a very worn out video of these two and know them word perfect.
But when was the last time you saw them. And have you ever watched them sober?

Escape to victory. Greatest film never to have been put up for an Oscar. 'Sly' what a fab actor.
