The Kiwi Air Force has a double pass system...Pass and re-do in 6 months, High pass (Based on time/distance covered and press-ups etc completed.) and re-do in 12 months.

The latest encouragement at this end of the country is that if you hit the blue zone, you only have to fit test once a year.

How can you have different policy on different units towards a test that's supposed to be equal for all? I might pass my test in the "Deep Blue" but six months later injure myself during the test drop out and fail whereas someone in Norfolk wouldn't even be taking their test.

They could be trialling it.

How fcuking unfit are you that you 'injure' yourself on a fitness test?

Down our way the Stiash had said a green pass means retest in 6 months, next up (dark or light blue? can't remember) retest in 12 months and if you get all the way to the top retest in 18 months.

Don't know if this is meant to be an incentive for people to run to maximum effort instead of just getting what's needed, in my eyes the only people who are going to be going that high are the sports billys anyway!

It's not necessarily about fitness! I have dodgy knees, and thus find it difficult with the slow down, push off, then spin around and sprint out to the other end and repeat until my lungs fall out or get to a level which I am satisfied that I can carry out the rest of the test. The only problem I really have is doing the press ups, only because I have arms like Mr Tickle! :pDT_Xtremez_31::pDT_Xtremez_30:
