Got to love old Gordon Brown and the la la land he lives in here.

You honestly have to wonder about how stupid MPs have to be to spout this kind of rubbish.

The only statement i even partially agree with is "I think Britain is basically a decent, compassionate society and most people want to see things change for the better." although i would modify it slightly to say that the silent majority want to see things change for the better.

Still the floor is now open

Well I think the UK is broken I would just use words that are worse tbh. I do not see England now as English rose and country , i just see imigration and well not what I expect from England, I see that now reaching Scotland and nothing can stop it now.The great nation we had is now a resting place for others that see us a weak nation , grab all benefits and now they stopped they return back to there own countries. We are a stop over nation and its an embarresment now , 20 years ago Britain was Britain and we had pride, now we cant do pride as it offends the durga durgas , **** em !!!

Sorry i got carried away , welcome my fluffy other people from all other countries , please feel free to go to benefits office and grab what you want , if you have kids you can get more cash without working, your hosts will pay for that as well

I pulled a few ticks of my dogs yesterday , parasites is the right word , if only gordon brown had the balls to go about witha huge set of tweezers

hes a fat **** so thats unlikely !!!

It would be nice to see some form of official stat's to back that up. Also, 20 years ago, Britain with pride etc? There are those on the goat and elsewhere that will tell you Britain was a sh1t place because of that hate figure Maggie. I do agree about being too fluffy to upset people out of 'What Burqa 2008' though.

Again, backed up by anything apart from xenophobia?

At least Maggie had the balls to tackle some serious problems. Dramatic, it was; painful it was (I was out of work), but it worked. Love her or loathe her, she DID get the job done.

IMHO it's got little to do with immigration or racism, that is just the knee jerk reaction of people who are fundamentally unhappy with the overall state of the country that they see around them. I can think of a number of other occasions in history when the situation has been similar (Germany 1930's for example).

As much as I regret the soft sponge approach of the Government, I for one do not want to see persecution for persecutions' sake.

It is a fact of human nature that when things go wrong we look for a scapegoat and then to a degree, we enjoy a little gloat.

The immigration card is a handy diversion because it takes our attention from, IMO the simple fact that this Govenment can't Govern.

They inherited a 'Sweet shop'in 1997 with the shelves and stock room full, like children running a sweet shop they have eaten the lot.

They know they are out at the next General Election, the best thing we can do is vote the knobs back in!

That should finish them off for good.

Rant over.

Is it not a sad fact that in the last 12 months or so more British citizens have emmigrated that at any other time since records began?
The statistics say that 1 in 4 Brits have seriously considered moving abroad and as the British housing market slows down, Brits buying Spanish, French and Itallian property are increasing in numbers.........Credit crunch or not.
Obviously I understand (as no doubt some smart ar5e will point out) those who emmigrate themselves become immigrants in which ever country they choose to settle but I doubt they will have the negative impact on their new country's health service, education service or welfare service that we are currently having to endure.

Again, is this backed up by any facts? The fact that so many Brits are emigrating means we need more foreign workers to come into Britain and coincidentally, that means they pay taxes etc and are net contributors. If people want to get on their high horses about benefit claimants, look closer to home and don't go for the obvious scapegoat. I personally would like to see stats on the benefits payouts although I doubt whether they would be published lest Johnny Brit discovers a truth that he doesn't want to see.:0

Yes - If you read the papers

Yes - If you read the papers

Its not just the new settlers, its the chavs, the benefit cheats, the single parents, the children of thatcher if you like.
Nobody sems to give a toss anymore.

Nobody has any respect for each other.

Nobody seems to have any family values.

Question is can we do anything about it?

What can we do about it? How about all the whining c*nts in this country man the f*ck up and deal with what is known as 'life'. It's not supposed to be a perfect walk in the park. There's always going to be criminals, death & taxes, recessions, chavs, free loaders.... that's life. It sucks but hey ho.

All this talk about 'broken Britain' for christs sake. As if knives, guns and crime were invented for the millennium. There has always been social ills, always will be.

Seriously, all this over blown crud about knife crime, immigration etc is starting to sound like a broken record given away with a copy of the Daily bloody Mail. :pDT_Xtremez_25:

But this is why the goat is here for us to put our opinions accross on all of these subjects. There are people on here who are seriously struggling due to the credit crunch or people who have suffered badly due to crime who appreciate the chance to talk about it.

Your attitude of hey well thats life is poor and poses the question of why you are in the RAF seen as the military is here to suport our country.

Errr... kind of like I just did? Or do all opinions need to be the same?

This thread isn't just about the economy but the UK as a whole. I have a mortgage like many others. I fill my car up with expensive diesel too. I just accept that troughs are as much of the economy as peaks. It sucks I know, but it's life.

Not even sure what you are getting at here! How have you jumped from me saying that people are pointlessly moaning about social ills which have always existed to my being in the RAF questionable!?

I do support this country. I think there is a lot to be proud of. Having been to places where I've seen malnourished children starving in front of my eyes makes me realise how very privileged we are to live somewhere like the UK.

I love the Uk I just think it's ruined by the moaning-whining-xenophobic-inbred-semi racist-narrow minded-daily mail reading half wits who bang on about immigration and crime when it's these white trash causing most social ills. They don't like immigrants because they perceive them to be a risk to their nice little benefit scams.
