Am I bad for finding it really funny? :pDT_Xtremez_31:

How many people would have been desperately searching for that elusive sick bag that they had shoved at the bottom of the seat back, just behind the emergency card.

Coo, did the wing-tip strike the runway; if not it was bloomin close. the youtube page says that the aircraft landed on a different runway at Munchen...begs the question why they werent allocated it before.

Lufthansa dodgy landing

Lufthansa dodgy landing

This pilot needs a kick up the backside for trying to land.

Its worrying when you have spotters out on a windy day with a camcorder taking film of a normal jet landing that looks kinda unreal. The wing hit the runway and you could hear the groan of the riggers from the hangar as it hit. As a pilot do you think you would be worried your ailerons could have got damaged. Scary stuff, im sure a few of the crew had ginger wheelspins after that one

Yeah exactly. Everyone is saying he's a hero when you could see from the very start of the video that he was struggling and should have gone for a go around then.

Had a similar thing happen to me on Loganair going up North, - took 2 attempts to get down after being blown off the runway.
Almost had to turn back to Inverness - really planted it down on the tarmac when we finally did land though !

That landing looks like every flight ive had on Omni Air International (charter company flying to the sandpit) Last time i flew we hit the runway pretty hard and the captain came on the intercom "welcome to brize norton, that was my co pilots first landing in a DC10 ! Thank you for your service welcome home"

Had a similar landing in American Airline 767 into chicago. I remember most of the approach was spent looking over the wing down the length of the runway as we came in sideways. The jockey lined us up a second before touchdown.

That was the one and only time I have cheered on a flight.

Had a similar approach to Exeter and then onto Bristol back in 96, was in a Jersey Scareways fokker friendship, Pilot managed to hit centre of the runway with the mains both times.

Was amusing to see the 3 passengers put on oxygen at Exeter and the stuardess giving her spiel on the take off from Exeter whilst pausing to fill a Barff bag.

That is the only flight i never loosened my seat belt even for a minute.
