Anyone know how to get rid of viruses? Have a couple of them embedded into PC which are causing annoying problems! If you are clever and are free to lend a hand I will send you my HijackThis log for you to take a look at plus tell you what I have already attempted to do myself!! Am just not geeky enough to do it myself!!!

Thanks

PM me if you like!:pDT_Xtremez_30:

I've run AVG, C Cleaner, Spybot leaving the following as embedded: Trojan horse PSW Generic2PRU (2 of), Trojan horse Generic2AANO (3 of), Virus WIN32/sality and Trojan Horse PSW Generic2BLU (1 of)...

And I'm detecting new ones everyday...Not going anywhere dodgy either...just e-mails, the goat and property websites mainly...All the pop-ups are turned off and security is up to 'tight'

I don't know what harm they're doing but I figured why wait to find out?

Also suggest a good firewall if you haven't got one already. Zone Alarm does an excellent free one

Try spyhunter as well mate, the trial version won't remove them, but it will tell you exactly where they are

Trial versions make stuff up, it makes you have to buy it to remove it. That is why Microsoft Defender is a good bet for a genuine copy of windows

Vim, being a rigger and technically minded I've always found smashing fek out of anything that doesn't work with a hammer then claiming on the house insurance does the trick.
Hope this helps
