Has this changed? Just heard about a snec who cant get out for 14months. Presume the other 4 months is for resettlement etc!

All ranks ET times for TG4 are 12 Months MAX apart from WO's that is 6 Months Max.
you can get out quicker on production of a written job offer that they will not keep open for you AND if your line management are will to bridge the Gapped post until the 90 days after your official ET Date.
by the time that has lapsed your section will have proved that they can do the job without that extra body and disestablish the post anyway.
