It was ten years yesterday since Steve Cleary was taken from us in a shocking car accident on the Kinloss road.
Many of his ex 31 Sqn mates were waiting for him and Mick Brae to turn up that night as we had all arranged a night out in Elgin.
What a slagging they both got.
Next day the sad news came through that Steve had died at the accident scene and Mick was in a serious condition in Aberdeen.
Never a day goes by when we all don't think about him, he was some guy.
Ten years seem like ten minutes.
Those of you who were privileged to have known him will know what I am talking about.
