Just spent an excellent weekend on the San Bernadino river near Verbania near Lake Maggiore.
The brown trout came in all sizes up to approx 2 kilo and took the dry or a leaded nymph respectively.
Must say this place was a snip at 20 euros a day. approx 5 kilometres of doublee bank catch and release.
