When you begin basic training iv read the salary is £14348, which averages roughly £298 per week can anybody help me by letting me know what deductions are to be taken for food and accommodation. What are costs for both these? Also if anybody knows your wage after tax and genaral deductions it would help me greatly.

You are looking at approximately £120 for food, £20 for accomodation and council tax, £100 for tax and £50 for NI leaving you somewhere in the region of £800-900, roughly.
