RTS intake 6th July 2011

I'm starting RTS on 6th July (as you would guess by the title) I'm just wondering if anybody else is starting at the same time or if anybody has any sound advice before I go?

Also due to the distance I'm travelling I'll be arriving the day before so was just wondering if the bed space I get placed in on that night will be mine for the duration?
