Well just rang up the council to see if they would take the black recycling box with the recycling waste on the next pick up as it is quite battered and because I have a new one.

I know differing plastics are able to be recycled but I would expect these boxes to be made up out of old pop bottles anyway, but come on please, surely these boxes would or should be and not just normal household waste?
