RAF Reg not recruiting officers?

New to using this and any help would be greatly appreciated. I am currently serving as a reservist RAF Regiment Gunner. I am moving over to Regular, applying to go in as an officer.

However, the RAF Regiment is not currently recruiting RAF Reg Officer, only Gunner. Does anyone know how long the application pipeline will be closed for (it's been a month so far)? Is it Covid related? Or defence review related?
