Do your 'posts count' only increase when first replying to / starting a topic? Thats what seems to be happening at the moment?

Certain forums dont count toward your post count. If you post loads of sh1te in the playground, your count wont increase.

Why is it so important?

It isn't important just something I noticed cos I have an aversion to the number '58
