The Poppy Golf tournament we´re running has had to be changed to Thu 7 Nov 13 - this was due to something outside of our control at the golf club. Could you pass the amended date on to the other Germany branches.

Anyone from across Germany who wants to play needs to let me know by 1 Nov 13.

Dusty,


On Wed 6 Nov 13 around 80 members of 28 Engr Regt and Bad Pyrmont Golf Club will compete in a Poppy Golf tournament with the aim of raising funds for the 2013 Poppy Appeal. After the golf we will be retiring to the Poppy Loft for refreshments, prize giving and a raffle.


I would like to invite you and the district chairman to attend the evening function, where hopefully the chairman could present some of the prizes; you would of course be more than welcome to play golf if you wish.


On 8 Nov 13 a team of 6 members of the Regt will return to the golf course and play golf for 99miles (1 for each year since 1914). It is estimated this will take them around 21 hours, again it is hoped to raise funds via sponsorship of the team.
