Sgt Cato was my DS Sgt when I went through Basic training in Nov / Dec 1982. I remember him as a top guy with a very dry sense of humour. My condolences to his family at this very sad time.

Pete was also my DI Sgt at Swinderby in early 1983.

A hard man, but fair - I found him.

My condolences go out to his family and friends.

RIP Pete
