as i asked in another post was ptr/fnr one of those trades that you had no chance of earning a gong or two on ops ??? did'nt ptr/fnr ever deploy as individuals with squadrons

We definately had a couple of painters in Gioia. How long they were there tho I'm not sure. Probably just flown out on an as and when requirement.
