Here's your chance to own a symbol of hope, a piece of history and donate to a worthy cause all at the same time.
On Thursday the 19th of January 2006, a northern bottlenosed whale was spotted on the River Thames. By Saturday Lunchtime two hundred and thirty MILLION people were watching and praying as a small team of dedicated vounteers raced against time and all odds to save him.
This is the watering can that tried to save its life...
This truly proves that people really will buy anything. Now this item is up for sale/auction and the proceeds are to go to charity which is a very good idea, my question is this, surly if you were in a mind to donate £10,600 to a charity surly you would just contact them and offer the money and not purchase a watering can in the process!
Or could it be for publicity….
Anyway, just a thought…
