Afternoon all,
A quick post to say hello and introduce myself. Like many I came across this site when trawling the web for advice on the application process, it was most helpful and when the opportunity arises i will return the favour for others. So far so good and I am almost through. Just the FAM visit and SERE in September to get through now.

I am joining as a nurse specialising in Critical Care, the job seems decent in blue skin. Obviously any tips from the top are always welcomed :)

Cheers

Welcome - with a user name like that, you had me guessing engineer not nurse :)

Unless his 'spanner' has a rash on it of course.... maybe DickDoc would be more appropriate ;)

Nothing the judicious application of creams and lotions won't fix. If you need some applying just ask, I'm told I have warm hands :encouragement:

Now that response needs obvious clarification!

Needs to talk to our resident Nurse Penfold...

Hopefully a lot better at the medical stuff then Pen... Imagine the scene.....

The hero of this story, Guard Commander at a secret AT base in Wiltshire.. out checking on his guards, making sure they are OK... Penfold wanders past and says hi.. he fails to notice the heroic guard commander is in fact extremely ill, nigh on death if we are honest, and leaves it at that, more interested in getting home to his pipe and slippers. Two hours later the heroic Guard Commander is being blue lighted to Swindon hospital for emergency surgery... I'm surprised any of Penfold's Hospital Flight patients survived to be honest - Penfold - AKA Dr Death.

I meant - if they were large hairy hands or small and dainty - warm hands is one thing but who owns them is another :)

Depends what your into I guess, but mine are large and hairy. I have been told I have pianist fingers, although I never have been that good at spelling so you can decide on that one :)
