New Pension

Right anyone know what pay counts towards working out the new pension?
It says it is based on the best 12months of the last 2 yrs or something. But I am pretty sure allowances such as LOA or GYH will not count as they are paying for something, but what about acting Pay or LSA, they both seem to be paid at a daily rate and Taxed and is extra for doing extra particular job?

not any info about what counts on the pension pages and before I ask the poor new SAC in PSF wondered if anyone has had anyone leave on the new pension scheme and how it effected the EDP?

I'm pretty sure (>99%) that your pension goes on your paid substansive rank, and discounts other additional income, otherwise we'd all move 50 miles away and claim HDT!!!

I have done all that and it will give us an idea, but the new scheme is based on relevant earnings over the last few yrs service.
I want to know what counts as relevant earnings...

LOA, GYH (Whatever), HTD certainly will not count towards your pension neither, I suspect will Subs Pay. What will count is your basic daily pay and any period of acting paid rank, or Flying Pay or any other Specialist Pay. I'm sorry I can't be too specific as I do not have access to JSP's anymore but I can say with certainty that your allowances will not count to your pension.
