Just heard our part time boss saying extra FP elements are going to be sent by next spring, to provide Force Protection, and to man Mastiff vehicles.

Does this mean 2 Sqn's deploying to Afghan?Making a total of 3 deployed at any one time?

Where are they going to find the blokes??

I would suggest that as Swiss Des is only upping the numbers by 230, and most going to Helmand, I think the most you'll see are elements of an FP Wing.
